Maven was born out of an idea to create a space for designer and owner Jen Ellis to display and showcase her jewellery designs. Having participated in multiple shows and in over 50 retailers across the country, she wanted a permanent space for her brand. When she stumbled on the beautiful, yet small space in historic Fort Langley, she knew it would be perfect. Will little retail experience, she dove in head first and learnt, laughed, stumbled, and succeeded to open Maven.

Along with showcasing Jen Ellis Designs jewellery, Maven is so proud to represent over 100 Canadian designers. It is such an honour to support and contribute to other fellow makers and designers. It is so important and necessary to create a relationship and honour the skill of a handmade product. We are constantly evolving our collection of thoughtfully curated goods!

We are so lucky to share this little town with some seriously delicious restaurants, wine bars, pubs, and cafes. There are so many other sweet shops and antique malls to check out along the way. Such a great way to spend an afternoon.
